Furkids receives $10,000 donation

On November 20, 2007, Furkids was presented with a check for $10,667 from Atlanta Classic Cars, the South’s largest Mercedes dealership. They also gave this same amount to two other organizations, Atlanta Pet Rescue and Society of Humane Friends. These donations were a result of their Dog Days of Summer campaign. Furkids is honored to receive this incredible donation from Atlanta Classic Cars. Furkids recently purchased surgical equipment for a surgery room at our shelter, Georgia's largest cage-free animal shelter. This amazing gift will allow us to secure a veterinarian to spay/neuter approximately 660 animals on site at our shelter. We are very grateful to Atlanta Classic Cars for recognizing the value of pets and contributing the needed funds to help end Georgia's pet overpopulation.
